Speaker's Profile:

 Nnenna Nina Chigbo  is a physiotherapist with a Masters Degree in Public Health from Imo State University.  Nnenna is also a receipient of the 2010 prestigious Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship award granted by the Fulbright Scholarship Board under the US Department of State which earned her a Global Health fellowship in Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia and  have also won the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy ‘Best Presenter’ Award in 2014. 

In June 2019, she was also honoured by the inaugural ' Nnenna Chigbo' award of excellence in global education in Oncology, HIV/AIDS, Hospice and Palliative care. 

Nnenna designs exercise protocols for patients with deranged immune systems and manages patients in palliative care.

  • Guest researcher with the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD & TB Prevention Unit of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia (2011)
